An Exhibition Space in Barcelona's
Raval
Barcelona Culture Studio prepared exhibits and other activities in
the large gallery spaces of the Raval loft where it was based. The space
is no longer active as I have taken my curating activity elsewhere.
When operative the galleries functioned as flexible project spaces,
where artists were invited to exhibit. Since 2003 the space has not been
active, as I have preferred to work curating and doing projects for other spaces
and institutions, such as the Sala H in
Vic.
In November 2003,
the gallery hosted BRRRR! Super 8 Festival, two evenings of S8 film in original
format, in an event that coincided with the Loop'00 video art fair.
Barcelona Culture Studio
has also been the site for a number of contemporary music concerts, organized
together with the collective IBA.
Following is a
list of exhibits held at the Barcelona Culture Studio space.
